Drop-Off Locations

Official Drop-off Locations

When natural disasters strike, they can leave a trail of destruction and despair in their wake. Families lose their homes, their belongings, and sometimes even their loved ones. In these trying times, it’s important for communities to come together and support one another. That’s where the DeWeather Cares DeSASTER TEAM comes in.

DeWeather Cares is a non-profit organization that specializes in natural disaster education, preparedness and response. The DeWeather Cares DeSASTER TEAM works tirelessly to provide essential items to those affected by natural disasters, such as hurricanes, earthquakes, and wildfires. But they can’t do it alone. That’s why they rely on the help of Official Drop-off Locations.

Official Drop-off Locations are businesses, companies, and organizations that have generously registered to accept specific essential items on behalf of DeWeather Cares. These items can range from personal care items and pet food to diapers and feminine hygiene products. By collecting these items, Official Drop-off Locations help ensure that essential supplies are readily available for those who need them most.

The importance of Official Drop-off Locations cannot be overstated. When a disaster strikes, it’s often difficult for relief organizations to quickly and efficiently get supplies to those who need them. By having Official Drop-off Locations set up in advance, DeWeather Cares can more easily and effectively distribute essential items to the areas hardest hit.

Official Drop-off Locations can be found on the map below.

Official Drop-off Locations accept specific essential items during their regular business hours. Official Drop-off Locations display a round “DeWeather Cares Official Drop-off Location” sticker on the front of their building, near the entrance – usually on the door or a window.

Personal Cares Items, toiletries, feminine hygiene products, dry pet food, diapers, baby wipes, cleaning supplies, trash bags and plastic storage containers with lids are the items accepted at Official Drop-off Locations.
